Abstract

"Recollections of Seventy Years," by William Barlow, is a detailed account of Dr. Samuel K. Barlow's 1845 expedition which blazed the Barlow Trail. Traveling with the Welch party, the Barlows left Fulton County, Illinois (April 2, 1845) and arrived in Oregon City, Oregon (December 23, 1845).
